Description

"The greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance."
- Brian Tracy

"Be willing to have it so. Acceptance of what has happened is the first step to overcoming the consequences of any misfortune."
- William Tracy

This is the final vent drawing, and, hopefully, last time I ever speak of Laura or anything related to her.
I've finally realized that I have to let her be, and let her live her life, even if I can't be a part of it anymore.

This drawing show tribute to the first pairing drawing I did of Laura and Hammerhead.
hammerheadturner.deviantart.co… As you can notice, that same field has been totally cleared, except for one flower that Hammerhead planted. He now visits it every week, to remind him of the good memories that came from his old friend. You might be able to see Laura's ghost behind him, slowly walking away.

If you ever see this, Julia, just know that, from the bottom of my heart, I never meant any harm to come to you. You were my friend for the past two years, no one could take the place of you in my heart. If this is really the end of our friendship, then I won't fight you about it.
I hope you make new friends, I hope your life turns out the way you want it to, because, let's face it, I still care about you. Ever since my character was just a petty recolor I liked you. Hell, I still do.
None of that changes anything, however.
Don't stop being who you are, Julia. Be the shy and caring girl I always remembered you to be, and don't let anyone change that about you.

Goodbye, old friend.
With love,
William

I'm glad you have finally gotten to the acceptance stage/forgiving.
It's very hard to let people go, especially if it was someone you loved and cared for.  Trust me I have been through it a couple times and it is a very very hard thing.  But I do tell you, it does get better.  You learn to forgive and let go.  You feel like a more open person, with no more weight on your shoulders.
It might be an end to a friendship, but another one will blossom.
